Snow fun!

We have gotten a lot of snow in the last 2 days. When we purchased our ATV, it came with a snow plow. We have enjoyed plowing our long driveway, as well as helping out our neighbors. Our children & some friends had fun when Lon pulled them behind the ATV today. The video is on YouTube. Click on the link to watch.

Fun Visitor

Ashley was able to spend a few days with us on her Thanksgiving break. While she was here, we had fun playing in the snow and being together.

Rain

Last night, Justin was playing with our See 'n Say: Kids Around the World. I asked him if he knew where Grandpa & Grandma Egbert are going on their mission. He said, "Brazil, in the rain forest. They are going to get wet!" Their mission "farewell" is this Sunday.

Beautiful Fall leaves

Our children love to jump in piles of leaves. This year, Justin was fascinated with the different colors of leaves. He enjoyed raking the few leaves we have into piles so that he could jump in them. So much fun!

Grapes!

Lon, Brianna & I went and picked grapes at a home in Jerome. The vines were loaded with grapes. We also picked grapes off of our 15 grape vines. We steam the concord grapes and then get to enjoy the yummy grape juice.

Hungry

Brianna came to me, rubbing her stomach. She said, "Mom, I'm hungry. I need M & Ms." Silly girl.

Carving pumpkins

This year, we planted and were able to harvest some big pumpkins from our garden. We had enough for all of our children plus some to share. We had 63 pumpkins, but most of those were the miniature pumpkins.

Halloween

Before a Halloween party, Tiffany went with her friend, Amber and her Mom to DI to pick out clothes so that they could "match" for Halloween. They had a lot of fun shopping and came home with great clothes to be Jamaican's for Halloween. Justin kept changing his mind on what he wanted to be from a turtle to a cowboy and finally decided on being a fireman. Silly boy. Brianna wanted to be like Lindsey, so they were both cowgirls. Since Halloween, Brianna has wanted her hair fixed the "same as Lindsey" everyday.

For Halloween, Tiffany was a (white) Jamaican, Lindsey & Brianna
were cowgirls and Justin was a fireman (same as last year).

Shelves

Lon, Tyler, Josh & I have been working hard and FINALLY insulated, put up paneling and then shelves in our detached garage. Now, I am working on going through our storage in the basement and getting rid of a lot of it so that we don't have so many things to store. Very refreshing!
