Brazil!

Lon's parents, David & Ann, received their mission call, on August 19th, to the Brazil Porto Alegre North mission!!! David served in the same area when he was a younger missionary. They go into the MTC on November 29th. We are all so excited for them!

No training wheels!

Justin can now ride his bike without training wheels. I asked him who taught him and he said that he taught himself. He really enjoys his orange bike!

Merit badge

Josh & his scout troop are working on the water skiing merit badge. On August 5th, they went wakeboarding. Josh, Wyatt, Mitchell (cousin), Lon & Chris (leader) had a lot of fun. For most of them, it was their 1st time. Everyone was able to get up on the board except for Wyatt.

Big brothers are GREAT!!!

This summer, Tyler has been working as a painter. He has really enjoyed his job and comes home looking like he has had a productive day of painting. Justin has been wanting me to paint his hand-me-down pink bike orange. When we were packing to go camping, Justin asked me if we could paint his bike. Since we didn't have time right then, I told him we could paint it when we were back home. Tyler heard us talking and said he could paint it. Talk about one happy little 5 year old boy! Justin now rides his mainly orange bike (he chose the color) with great pride. Thanks, Tyler, for being an awesome big brother!
