Tyler's Eagle Court of Honor

We held Tyler's Eagle Court of Honor after the 3 Wendell wards held a court of honor. There were a lot of people who attended. Thanks to those who came, especially those who traveled far to come (Robert & Lisa family, Paul & Wendy family & Mitchell). Thanks to all of those who took part in the program, wrote letters, and showered praises on Tyler. Tyler has been in Troop 75 for almost 4 years. So far, he has earned a total of 36 merit badges. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow. Tyler's Eagle Project was to prepare the ground & area for playground equipment at McGinnis Park in Wendell, ID. His actual Eagle Scout date is November 16, 2008.

Congrats Tyler! I can't imagine all the work that goes into that (actually I have a glimpse since Jared is a tutor for those close to getting their Eagle). You are rockin' awesome! And what a cool cake. Who made it, Mel?

Our neighbor, who makes wedding cakes, made it for Tyler. To "pay" for it, Tyler mowed their yard 2 times. It was Tyler's idea to trade lawn mowing for the cake, and was a great trade for all of us!
