Tutu

One night when we were putting our children to bed, Brianna found a tutu and put it on. Suddenly, she became silly. She is so much fun!

Portugal!

Tyler, our oldest son, opened his mission call on February 29th with us via Google+. He will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Portugal Lisbon mission. He will be speaking Portuguese. He is going into the Provo MTC on July 11th. We are all so excited!

Cakes

We are so blessed to have some amazing neighbors. One of our neighbors enjoys making cakes so asked if she could make our children cakes for their birthdays. I am more than happy to let her make cakes for our children. She makes some amazing cakes, as you can see. She also happens to be Justin's 1st grade teacher!

Josh basketball

For Josh and the JV basketball team, the last game of the season is tonight, where they compete for the championship title. Josh has done well this year and improved in his overall game. He is so much fun to watch! In the pictures, he is #3 & #4. The video is of Josh (#3) playing in a JV basketball game.

Prepared?

After returning home from making copies, I found out that we had no electricity when our garage door would not open. Normally, we just use our garage door so we don't have to worry about carrying our house keys. I wasn't too concerned until I went to retrieve our hidden key only to find it missing. So, I sat outside, in our van, watching the snow fall for a few hours until I went to pick up Tiffany, Lindsey & Justin from school. On the drive home, I learned that Justin had buried the key, but he was sure he could dig and find it under the snow & dirt. Right. By the time we returned home, the power was back on. When I got inside, I found our house keys and put one in our hidden spot and one on my keychain. It was a strange feeling being locked out of my own home. Lesson learned.

Braces

After getting 4 teeth pulled about 2 weeks ago, Josh got braces on Monday. Brianna was intrigued with the whole process. We are glad that Josh's teeth will look a lot better.
